Fakenham Cricket Club are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our members.

Members data is not sold or distributed to any other parties, with exception of our website provider, Prepress Solutions, and our website hosting platform,, for mailing lists; Play-Cricket for official registration of players in adherence with league rules; and our chosen bank for payment of monies owed by members to Fakenham Cricket Club.

This policy exists to provide transparency to our members as to how their data is collected, stored, secured, processed and shared.

Types of data we collect

Fakenham Cricket Club uses Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

We collect personal contact details from playing members to fulfil the requirements of League rules in terms of player registration as well as social members (such as 100 club members) to communicate club news.

Mailing lists

Members of Fakenham Cricket Club are registered to our mailing lists. Members are required to “unsubscribe” to content if they wish to no longer receive information about Fakenham Cricket Club events, news, and match reports in the form of an email.

Non-members can sign up to the mailing list to “opt-in” to be contacted by Fakenham Cricket Club in relation to any marketing of events, news and match reports.

Whereby a member or non-member of Fakenham Cricket Club is part of the mailing list, their name and email address information are shared with Prepress Solutions to generate the mailing list.

Access to your personal information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. If you would like to make any changes to the personal information we hold, or you have any enquiries please email your request to our secretary, Kevin Webb.

We use MailChimp to contact our subscribers via emails.

We use Wordfence Security to protect against hackers and spam.

The website has a regularly updated SSL certificate.

This privacy policy was last reviewed 06/02/2019 and will be reviewed annually.
